Our Services

At Bright Star, we offer a comprehensive range of ABA services designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with autism and other developmental differences. Each service is tailored to support meaningful growth, independence, and a higher quality of life for our clients and their families.

Behavior Intervention

Our behavior intervention services are focused on reducing maladaptive behaviors and teaching appropriate alternatives. Using evidence-based strategies, we address behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, tantrums, and noncompliance, promoting positive behavior change.

Skill Development

We specialize in helping clients develop essential life skills, including:

  • Communication: Teaching verbal and non-verbal communication, including alternative communication methods like PECS or AAC devices.
  • Social Skills: Enhancing the ability to engage with peers and adults, fostering meaningful relationships.
  • Daily Living Skills: Building independence through skills like grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and hygiene routines.
  • Academic Readiness: Supporting learning strategies such as attending to tasks, following instructions, and problem-solving.

Early Intervention (EI)

Our Early Intervention programs focus on children under 5, using play-based and naturalistic teaching methods to support language development, social engagement, and foundational learning. These services are critical in promoting long-term success during early developmental stages.

Parent and Caregiver Training

We empower families with the tools they need to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions. Through personalized training, we teach strategies for managing challenging behaviors, implementing treatment plans, and creating supportive environments at home and in the community.
